The Human Resources (HR) Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the human resource office of a company, as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. HR departments generally handle employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
Responsibilities
- Work with company Director to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees
- Payroll and Attendance management
- Handling company’s yearly audits
- Educate employees on company policies and keep employee handbook current
- Employee orientation, development and training
- Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected
- Performance management and improvement system
- Understand and adhere to all pertinent labour laws and compliance
- Committee facilitation (sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions
- Monitor employees progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive
- Manage and supervise other HR/admin staff, ensuring they are assigned and carry out proper tasks

- A proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect department managers and employees regarding all HR matters
