We are looking to hire an experienced content writer to create content for blogs, articles, social media, and the company website. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content and consistently ideate and collaborate with the internal team on new ideas.
Responsibilities
- Story-telling
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
- Assisting the marketing team in developing content for campaigns
- Editing and rehashing existing content to improve readability
- Collaborate with internal teams and recommend new content to address gaps
- Writing a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (websites, blogs, articles, media copy, social updates, banners, guides, white papers, etc.)
Education and Experience Required
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in content writing
- Should be abreast with the latest SEO techniques
- Working knowledge of content management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Google Docs
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in the real money gaming industry is preferred
- Succinct, fact-filled content
- An engaging, active tone
- Correct grammar usage
- Very strong command of the language
- SEO and SMM knowledge required
- Come up with new ideas and use creative content for writing
- Gaming background preferred
